The Facts: Richardson missed the entire first week of the team's organized team activities after tweaking his hamstring the previous week. "Trent just needs to get healthy," HC John Harbaugh said. "When he gets himself [in shape], he's got talent. I'm very certain he'll get there. And when he does, we'll be able to evaluate him."
Diehards Line:
The Ravens waited until April 18 to sign Richardson because they wanted him to get his weight down this offseason. Richardson, the No. 3 overall pick of the 2012 draft, has struggled with injuries and his conditioning over his three-year career, averaging 3.3 yards per carry. He was out of football last season after playing for the Browns, Colts and Raiders. Richardson, who will turn 26 in July, needs a strong offseason and training camp to find a spot in Baltimore's crowded backfield. The Ravens currently have Justin Forsett, Buck Allen, Kenneth Dixon, Lorenzo Taliaferro and Terrance West at running back. Consider all four well ahead of Richardson.
