The Facts: According to multiple reports, Nicks is working out for the Saints on Wednesday along with other wide receivers in search of jobs for the 2016 season.
Diehards Line:
The Saints also took a look at Nicks last September after he was released by the Titans, but the veteran wideout remained out of the league until he signed up for a second tour of duty with the Giants in November. Nicks caught seven passes for 54 yards in six appearances with the team and continued to look like the diminished receiver of the last few years rather than the one that put up big numbers for the Giants in 2010 and 2011. As PFT reminded readers, the Saints parted ways with longtime lineup fixture Marques Colston this offseason and drafted Michael Thomas in the second round to go with Brandin Cooks, Willie Snead and Brandon Coleman at receiver.
