The Facts: The Vikings' voluntary offseason program gets started on Monday and Line will be part of the roster. The team announced Monday morning that they have re-signed Line, who was tendered as a restricted free agent early in the offseason. Line was tendered at the lowest level, setting him up to make a non-guaranteed salary of $1.671 million.
Diehards Line: Line joined the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of SMU in 2013 and has spent the last three seasons with the club. He only played four games in the first two seasons, but appeared in every game while starting five times with Jerome Felton out of the picture in 2015. Line ran the ball six times and made six catches during his extended playing time and will likely remain in his primary role as a blocker for Adrian Peterson during the 2016 season.
