The Facts: According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Ravens have officially signed Richardson, who gets another shot with a team with some opportunities at the position.
Diehards Line:
The announcement was expected. HC John Harbaugh confirmed that Richardson would be added to the roster for the start of the team's off-season program. Richardson was out of football last year after getting cut by the Raiders. Since a moderately productive rookie year with the Browns, he’s been a disaster. He averaged 3.3 yards per carry for the Colts after they gave up a first-round pick to acquire him. For the Ravens, it’s a no-risk look at a guy who once was OK, though there’s no indication things are going to be different this year.
