The Facts: Green Bay has been poking around Hillman, Tom Pelissero of USA Today reports.
Diehards Line:
Running back doesn’t seem to be a big need for the Packers, who re-signed James Starks this offseason and are hoping to see a slimmer, fitter Eddie Lacy when camp opens. But if they can get him at the right price, Hillman could be a decent addition for the Packers as well. Hillman has played his entire four-year career with the Broncos. Last season he had a career-high 863 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, but the Broncos have made clear that C.J. Anderson is their starter going forward, and they haven’t shown a lot of interest in bringing Hillman, an unrestricted free agent, back.
