The Facts: According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Randle is on a plane, headed to visit the L.A. Rams.
Diehards Line:
Rapoport added this is the first of several scheduled visits for Randle, who has come up short of expectations during his tenure with the Giants. As the Sports Xchange notes, promoted to the No. 2 receiver when Victor Cruz was sidelined with a calf injury, Randle continued to alternate looking as though he had finally taken the next step with running lazy, uninspired routes and failing to pay attention to the details. While the Giants love big, tall receivers, they also love production more, which is something Randle hasn't delivered on a consistent basis. Perhaps the coming change of scenery -- whether in L.A. or elsewhere -- will do him good.
