The Facts: According to Daily News staffer Manish Mehta, Streater is visiting the Jets Friday.
Diehards Line:
Streater was among those visiting the Patriots Thursday. ... As Profootballtalk.com notes, Streater wasn’t much of a factor in Oakland last season, playing in just one game and catching one pass for eight yards, and broke his foot three games into the 2014 season so it has been a while since he’s seen significant game action. When he did, he caught 99 passes for 1,472 yards and seven touchdowns in 32 games for the Raiders. The Jets have Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker at the top of the depth chart at receiver with Devin Smith, Quincy Enunwa and Kenbrell Thompkins behind them so Streater probably won’t be guaranteed much more than a chance to compete if he does sign with the Jets.
