The Facts: According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Falcons agreed to terms with Sanu on a five-year deal.
Diehards Line:
Previous reports indicated Sanu would get about $7 million a year, but NFL Network is reporting it’s worth $32.5 million with $14 million fully guaranteed. With Roddy White's recent release, there's room for a No. 2 receiver to work opposite Julio Jones. Sanu is the most likely candidate with second-year man Justin Hardy appearing to be better suited to a No. 3 role (although that could change). Sanu has 152 career receptions for 1,793 yards with 11 touchdowns over four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. He entered the NFL as a second-round draft pick out of Rutgers in 2012.
