The Facts: John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports that the team has Graham.
Diehards Line:Graham’s departure doesn’t come as a great surprise after he spent the second half of last season on the inactive list. Graham caught 49 passes for 545 yards and five touchdowns in 2013, but never seemed to find a place in the offense once Bill O’Brien replaced Gary Kubiak as the team’s head coach. Graham caught 22 passes for 227 yards and two touchdowns in 19 games over the last two seasons. Dropping Graham saves the Texans $3.125 million under the cap. He joins a fairly thin group of free agent tight ends, although his production the last two years suggests that there might not be a long list of suitors for his services.
