The Facts: According to Matt Zenitz of AL.com, Richardson, the former No. 3 overall pick is expected to sign with the Ravens, pending a physical.
Diehards Line:
Richardson was out of football last year after getting cut by the Raiders, though he’s had some scattered workouts since last summer. He was checked out by the Bills and Broncos previously. Since a moderately productive rookie year with the Browns, he’s been a disaster. He averaged 3.3 yards per carry for the Colts after they gave up a first-round pick to acquire him. As PFT's Darin Gantt notes, for the Ravens, it’s a no-risk look at a guy who once was OK, though there’s no indication things are going to be different this year.
