The Facts: According to NJ.com's Jordan Raanan, Randle's chances of returning to the Giants in 2016 stand at 15 percent.
Diehards Line:
Raanan conceded that Randle, who will be an unrestricted free agent, has some things working in his favor. His age and flashes of production are at the top of the list. Being just 24 and with some track record of success, there will be a team out there that thinks his best years are ahead. They'll believe that once they get their hands on Randle, it will all come together. Plus, he's better than most of what is out there. But from the Giants' perspective, Randle was benched twice in 2014, Ben McAdoo's first year as coordinator. Those were for constantly being late to meetings. The Giants haven't been able to get the most out of Randle in his four years with the team, and they've seen firsthand the explosion sapped out of him this past season after experiencing knee troubles in training camp. Raanan summed up: "It's hard to imagine the Giants thinking everything is magically going to improve once they hand him millions to stay. The likelihood is they allow him to look elsewhere and walk." If that's the case, expect Bengals free-agent to be Mohamed Sanu to be of interest to the Giants.
