The Facts: According to Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report, Freeman will be working out for the Colts on Monday.
Diehards Line:
Andrew Luck seems unlikely to play as a result of the kidney and abdominal injuries that have kept him out for weeks, Matt Hasselbeck said after Sunday’s game that he’s “not super optimistic” about his outlook thanks to the right shoulder injury he added to his list of ailments and Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Charlie Whitehurst pulled his hamstring after taking over for Hasselbeck. Whitehurst was able to finish the game, but the Colts would be left with Stephen Morris, signed off the Eagles practice squad last week, if things went south for him before the game. Freeman spent some time with the Dolphins this offseason, but hasn’t played in a regular season game since 2013. Morris has never played in a regular season game, which would make the Colts’ playoff odds even longer should the duo factor into a game with a postseason bid still a possibility.
