The Facts: Moreno, who played in three more games before suffering a season-ending knee injury, may not be able to play at all this season. Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports that Moreno won’t be playing football this year because his knee isn’t right.
Diehards Line:
Moreno was off to a promising start last season with the Dolphins, carrying 24 times for 134 yards in a Week 1 win over the Patriots. But he didn't do much else before a torn ACL ended his season in Week 3. ... Meanwhile, as PFT's Michael David Smith notes, even though the 27-year-old Moreno became a free agent in March, there’s been no buzz about any team having any interest in signing him, which suggests that the knee injury is indeed a major issue. Moreno has a history of knee injuries and also suffered a torn ACL in 2011.
