The Facts: The Falcons started the day by signing former Colt and Bronco Jacob Tamme, but they weren’t done adding players to compete with Levine Toilolo for playing time. The team announced that they have also signed former Chief, Bill and Seahawk Moeaki on Thursday afternoon.
Diehards Line:
As PFT notes, injuries have been a constant for Moeaki since he broke into the league with 47 catches for 556 yards and three touchdowns as a rookie with Kansas City in 2010. He tore his ACL and missed the 2011 season before returning to catch 33 passes the next year. A fractured shoulder led to his departure from Kansas City in 2013 and a brief stint with the Bills ended with Moeaki’s release from injured reserve after hurting his hamstring last year. Moeaki played six regular season games and two playoff contests for Seattle after getting healthy, catching eight passes for 134 yards and a touchdown. ... We'll see if he can remain in the locked an upright position long enough to do more this year.
