The Facts: LeSean McCoy has a lead blocker. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Bills will sign Felton as a free agent.
Diehards Line:
Felton opted out of his contract with the Vikings, leaving $2.45 million on the table to seek his fortune elsewhere after a year that saw his playing time drop. As PFT notes, Felton shouldn’t have that problem with the Bills as long as healthy since all signs are that Buffalo plans to run the ball early and often in 2015. Felton spent three years in Minnesota and helped open up holes for Adrian Peterson when Peterson topped the 2,000-yard mark during the 2012 season. He’s also played for the Lions, Panthers and Colts during his seven-year career.
