The Facts: Following up on the ongoing story. ... According to ESPN's Josina Anderson, Wallace told her he is open to a pay cut or restructuring his deal if asked: “Like I said I am willing to help out the team, but at the same time I’m not about to do nothing crazy either," Wallace said. "I’ll definitely help the team out, but it has to be reasonable -- what I feel is reasonable.”
Diehards Line:Asked what he feels is reasonable, Wallace said: "I don’t know. I have to see what exactly what my agent and the team is talking about and whatever I feel is reasonable. It’s not set like this is what it is. If we come to an agreement, I’m with it. Like I said, I’m not about to do something too crazy. I still have a family that comes first." The Dolphins must pay Wallace a $3 million bonus if he is on the roster on March 14. All indications are Wallace will stick around whether he restructures or not. Asked if he's happy playing for Miami, Wallace told Anderson, "Yeah I am happy. It is a nice place to play football, so yes I am happy." He certainly wasn't that at the end of last season. We'll be watching for signs that's truly changed if he stays.
