The Facts: The Browns have expressed interest in signing Dickson, the Panthers No. 2 tight end, a league source told Plain Dealer staffer Mary Kay Cabot.
Diehards Line:
Dickson (6-4, 255) spent his first four seasons in Baltimore before signing with the Panthers as an unrestricted free agent last year. He'll hit the market Tuesday at 4 p.m. if the Panthers don't re-sign him first. He had a down year with Carolina, catching just 10 passes for 115 yards and a TD in his 10 starts. But the Panthers hope to re-sign him, according to the Charlotte Observer, and Dickson was hoping to remain with the team. As many as eight to 10 teams might be interested.
