The Facts: The Falcons have re-signed wide receiver and special teams leader Weems.
Diehards Line:Weems had 10 catches for 102 yards and two touchdowns with Atlanta in 2014 after returning to the team in the preseason. He played with the Falcons from 2007-11 before spending two seasons with the Chicago Bears. Weems was voted to the Pro Bowl as a special teams player following the 2010 season. He had 13 tackles in 2014 to lead the special teams. The 29-year-old Weems will provide depth at wide receiver behind starters Julio Jones and Roddy White. The Falcons released Harry Douglas, who had been the No. 3 receiver.
