The Facts: The Atlanta Falcons announced on Wednesday that they have signed Bryant to a contract extension. Terms of the deal were not disclosed in the release.
Diehards Line:Bryant has been one of the NFL's most consistent kickers since joining Atlanta as a free agent in 2009, converting 88.6 percent of his field goal attempts. The veteran kicker has scored 666 points with the Falcons -- second in franchise history behind Morten Andersen. The 39-year-old enjoyed a strong 2014 campaign, converting 29 of 32 field goal attempts while leading the NFL in kicks made beyond 50 yards. With an offense led by Matt Ryan and Julio Jones, Bryant should continue to get plenty of opportunities in 2015.
