The Facts: Adam Caplan of ESPN.com reports the Eagles are releasing Casey, whom they signed in free agency in 2013. The Eagles subsequently confirmed the move.
Diehards Line:In two seasons with Philadelphia, the 30-year-old Casey caught a combined six passes for 90 yards with two touchdowns. He was slated to make $4 million in 2015. Casey's most productive pass-catching season came with Houston in 2012, when he hauled in 34 passes for 330 yards and three TDs.
