The Facts: The Seahawks have lost one of their key pass catchers for the rest of the season. Richardson has suffered a torn ACL, Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports reported Sunday.
Diehards Line:
Richardson departed Saturday’s divisional playoff win vs. Carolina with a left knee injury. He suffered an ACL tear in the same knee in 2012 at the University of Colorado. In the regular season, Richardson ranked third among Seahawks wide receivers in targets (44), hauling in 29 passes for 271 yards and a touchdown. His loss removes some speed from Seattle’s wide receiving corps. The Seahawks will host the Packers in the NFC Championship game next Sunday.
