The Facts: Following up on a previous item. ... Moeaki appears to be the only player who is questionable going into Saturday’s playoff game with the Panthers. “We’ll have to find out on game day,” HC Pete Carroll said Thursday of Moeaki. “He has a very slight [calf] strain. We’ll see what that means. It happened [Tuesday], but [tight end] Cooper Helfet is ready to go.”
Diehards Line:
Helfet missed the regular-season finale with a rib injury. He’s one of three players who missed that game that are returning this weekend, including wide receiver Jermaine Kearse (hamstring) and backup cornerback Tharold Simon (dislocated shoulder). Carroll also confirmed that center Max Unger made it through the week fine and will start Saturday. Unger, who has played only six games this season, missed the last six games with knee and ankle injuries.
