The Facts: The Browns released Campbell on Wednesday, shortly after they said farewell to Brandon Weeden.
Diehards Line:
No surprise. Campbell, signed to a two-year deal last offseason, was due a $250,000 roster bonus on Thursday. Campbell said at the end of the season that he still feels he's a starter and wants to continue playing. However, he went 1-7 with the Browns in his lone season. The Browns still have Brian Hoyer and Alex Tanney on the roster.
