The Facts: Gonzalez said he injured a toe on his left foot during Sunday's 33-10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Gonzalez hobbled around the locker room afterward and implied that more tests would be conducted to determine the severity of the injury. He was pulled out of the game briefly but played through the pain. Asked if he would be OK, Gonzalez responded, "We'll see."
Diehards Line:
"I played on it," he said. "Wasn't able to go full speed, but we'll see how it goes the next day. Usually when you have injuries, you can get through it through the game. Then the next day after it calms down and swells up a little bit, then that's when the trouble starts. So, we'll see how goes. Tomorrow, I'm going to wake up, and hopefully it's not that bad. ..." Gonzalez, 37, hasn't missed a game since Nov. 19, 2006. He has missed only two games in 16-plus NFL seasons. ... Stay tuned. We'll be watching this one closely in coming days.
