The former high school basketball player is a natural receiver and could project as a movable target to attack the defense from a variety of ways. In Dallas, he'll provide a second threat to complement Jason Witten at the position. Escobar has excellent hands, locates the ball over shoulder very easily and picks the target out of the air effortlessly. He runs the seam like a wideout, with long strides that eat up ground. As a receiving target, Escobar is exactly what NFL teams are looking for. His fluidity and downfield comfort is effortless, as is his near refusal to body catch. However, the issue that could limit his snaps in the NFL: inconsistent blocking. Still, Escobar is a talented receiving option that the Cowboys will use around the offensive formation.
