And the interest hasn’t dwindled since one of the league’s premier return men was let go. The Bucs have already been in contact with his representative, though no deal is imminent with the running back/kick returner.

Diehards Line:The fit is obvious. The Bucs had no consistent return man in 2012 and Washington has been one of the NFL’s best for years. He averaged 29.0 yards on kick returns last season, second in the NFL behind the Ravens’ Jacoby Jones. Washington has eight kick-return touchdowns in his eight-year career. ...
