The Facts: Arizona Cardinals tight end Todd Heap left the Week 2 game against the Patriots with an injury to his left knee and didn't return. Heap caught a 28-yard pass from Kevin Kolb and was slow to get up. The veteran had a team-high five receptions for 62 yards on nine targets before the injury. Heap also passed Hall of Famer Mike Ditka for the No. 12 spot on the NFL's all-time receiving yardage among tight ends.
Diehards Line:Heap is no stranger to injuries in recent years, and missed six games in 2011, his first season with the Cardinals. We'll keep you posted on the severity of the knee injury, however he's out for an extended period, Jeff King and Rob Housler will get see an increase in snaps.
