He also ran all the routes the position demands without any problems. Without a defense and without pads, Green says he is sprinting and cutting fine. Training camp remains the goal. “It’s definitely a goal, definitely a goal," Green said. "I’m progressing and haven’t had any setbacks. I’m getting my strength and conditioning up, getting my endurance up, my flexibility, everything. ...” While coaches will be cautious with him in training camp, if the Packers believe Green can serve a part-time role behind James Starks, there's no need to pay Grant.
