The Facts: According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, free agent RBs Ryan Grant and Tim Hightower are visiting the Patriots today.
Diehards Line:The Patriots lost BenJarvus Green-Ellis (now with the Bengals) in free agency, leaving Stevan Ridley, Shane Vereen and Danny Woodhead as their top three RBs. It's not clear either of the veterans will be signed, but it's an indication the Patriots will be looking for more help at halfback. Grant, who has been with Green Bay isn't expected to return to the Packers. His agent hinted earlier this week that Grant could be moving on soon. The Redskins were hoping to re-sign Hightower, whose 2011 season ended early due to a torn ACL.
