The Facts: Following up on the ongoing story. ... Titans HC Mike Munchak and offensive coordinator Chris Palmer will head up the group meeting with Manning either Tuesday or Wednesday to recruit the quarterback to Tennessee.
Diehards Line:The team is confident in Munchak's ability to recruit -- the coach was a major reason why Matt Hasselbeck landed in Nashville last year. And Palmer was Eli Manning's position coach with the Giants from 2007-09, so there is a familiarity with him and the Manning family. Meanwhile, ESPN reports that Manning, who already has met with the Broncos and Cardinals -- as well as Miami HC Joe Philbin and members of his staff, has continued to rehab his shoulder and neck. Manning is expected to resume his throwing regimen -- most likely at Duke University, where he threw last week -- while he analyzes his free-agent choices, with no apparent deadline in place to make a decision.
