Diehards Line:Stevens just finished his fourth NFL season, and is scheduled to be a free agent in March. Indications are the Titans want to get a deal done with Stevens completed well before then. Stevens is coming off the best year of his career, even if his stats don’t jump off the page. In 15 games, Stevens caught nine passes for 166 yards and a touchdown. His average per catch – 18.4 yards – in 2011 was impressive, and it led the team. The Titans value Stevens even more for his role as a blocker in the running game.
