The Facts: HC Marvin Lewis singled out Nugent for his three bullets from 36, 39 and 44 yards, his first field goals with the team since ripping the ACL in his kicking knee in Indianapolis Nov. 14, noting it looks like he's got the strength pretty much all the way back. "Feels like last camp," Nugent said. "The key is how does it feel tomorrow?"
Diehards Line:Nugent was placed on injured reserve with a torn right ACL and sprained right MCL in the middle of last November, ending his season. He underwent reconstructive knee surgery in January. But the former Jet was off to a big start before he was hurt as he set a club record when he hit his first nine field-goal attempts as a Bengal. Five of them took down the Ravens for the only Bengals points in a 15-10 win and Nugent was clearly establishing himself as Shayne Graham’s replacement. ... Sounds like Nugent's return is on track.
