The Facts: Wolfe, who played for the Chicago Bears for the past four seasons, was arrested early Sunday in Miami. He has been charged with retail theft, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct, according to Miami-Dade county booking information.
Diehards Line:Wolfe was a third-round draft pick by the Bears in 2007. He was a core special teams performer over the past two seasons but the Bears did not tender him an offer as a potential restricted free agent, so when the NFL resumes business he will be unrestricted. Wolfe got only four carries in the first season under OC Mike Martz. Wolfe never really got a chance to get involved offensively under Ron Turner either as he has only 72 rushing attempts in his career.
