The Facts: According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, the Saints signed Jones on Tuesday.

Diehards Line:Jones was released by the Seahawks after Seattle acquired Marshawn Lynch in a trade with Buffalo last week. Given Pierre Thomas' ongoing injury issues (he's missed two games with a sprained ankle and his status for this week remains uncertain at this point), the Saints have been relying on Ladell Betts and Chris Ivory to handle the rushing duties. While they have been efficient enough, the Saints could use a boost. That said, it's not clear Jones is capable of providing that. ... Stay tuned.
