The Facts: Carpenter recently signed a three-year extension through the 2013 season according to Alain Poupart of Dolphins Digest.
Diehards Line:Carpenter came off a promising rookie year and had an even better sophomore campaign. He upped his conversion rate on field goals to 89 percent by doing a much better job in 2009 from the 40-49 yard distance. His numbers were impressive enough last year that when Nate Kaeding injured his hamstring while practicing for the Pro Bowl, it was Carpenter who was selected to be his replacement. Combine a potentially more productive offense with Carpenter's accuracy and he could emerge as a viable Fantasy kicker.
