The Facts: The Seahawks are expected to cut White on Friday, and in fact a press release was posted on the Seattle Seahawks' Web site a little bit after noon stating White had been released.
Diehards Line:While the release is no longer posted online, Times staffer Danny O'Neil includes a screen grab of a Google with the headline. ... The Seahawks have not announced the move formally, and a O'Neil reports that a message left for White's agent has not been returned, but indications are that it was not a mistake and White is going to be released. If so, it's more than a little surprising. White was in great shape, saying he weighed 219 pounds at the team's most recent practice and the expectation was White would not only be able to contribute, but he might be a candidate to start. ...
