The Facts: Henderson reportedly underwent sports hernia surgery on May 6. The surgery surfaced when Henderson was unable to attend an awards program recognizing scholarships he helps fund in St. Landry Parish, according to The Daily World.
Diehards Line:The injury, which used to be called a "groin pull," has hit the Saints hard. In the past two years, six other Saints have had the same surgery performed at a Philadelphia clinic. If the reports are accurate, Henderson shouldn't miss any pre-season camp time. Camp is slated to begin on July 29 and the normal recovery time from the procedure is 3-4 weeks.
