The Facts: Williams is confident he won't lose his starting job and can't wait for the 2010 season to begin. "I know people are thinking [rookie Dez Bryant] going to come in and take my spot and all that mess," Williams said. "It's not about that. I don't think that's going to happen anyway. I embrace the challenge."
Diehards Line:Williams is coming off a dismal season in which he caught only 38 passes for 596 yards and seven touchdowns. He also was credited with eight dropped passes, which ranked 12th in the NFL last season. Yet he still expects to beat out Bryant, the team's first-round draft pick. Indeed, Williams has been working with Tony Romo to cut down on the number of dropped passes. "I bet anybody in this world I won't be close to that [in 2010]," said Williams, adding he's been catching 200 balls a week off JUGS guns during workouts and an additional 40 to 50 passes a week from Romo.
