The Facts: SI.com insider Peter King first reported this morning the Ravens will sign Stallworth to a contract. ESPN's Adam Schefter is now comfirming King's report, adding that Stallworth will sign a one-year, $900,000 deal with the Ravens, with another $300,000 to be made in incentives.
Diehards Line:The Ravens clearly have a need for experienced depth -- and speed -- on the outside. Stallworth brings both of those -- when healthy. He also brings considerable baggage after spending last season on suspension in the wake of a DUI manslaughter conviction. He was released by the Browns after the suspension was lifted nine days ago. As Profootballtalk.com's Mike Florio suggests, Stallworth provides "a low-risk, medium reward deal" for the Ravens.
