The Facts: Frye will start at quarterback against the Ravens in the season finale this Sunday, and both he and coach Tom Cable are hoping he plays a little more like Charlie Frye this time.
Diehards Line:As the Press-Democrat suggested, Frye is a classic overachiever — Cable has referred to him as a gym rat — known more for heady game management than gaudy passing stats. At Cleveland, though, he gave away three interceptions (two of them inside the Browns' 20-yard line) despite throwing for a career-high 333 yards. Still, during his Monday press conference, Cable suggested that had he moved away from JaMarcus Russell more quickly, the Raiders might have made the playoff.
