The Facts: There's buzz that the Vikings might sign Harrison, 36, who is near the end of his career and has tender knees, to a one-year, low-end deal to provide competition for Sidney Rice.
Diehards Line:Despite reports to the contrary, Harrison's agent, Tom Condon, recently said his client has no plans to retire and that he wants to play in 2009. Still, overall interest in Harrison has been minimal with more than a few observers suggesting Harrison's reluctance to sign a low-end deal being a sticking point. ... We suspect Harrison will garner more interest as the season draws near but we'll continue to watch for more out of Minnesota.
