The Facts: TE Quinn Sypniewski and WR Demetrius Williams have signed their one-year, restricted free agent tenders, the team announced today. Both were assigned the low tender of $1.01 million.
Diehards Line:Out for all of last season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, Sypniewski is scheduled to return this year. Williams, who was placed on injured reserve after seven games last season, underwent surgery on his Achilles’ tendon last year. He’s expected to play this year, though. According to NFL.com, Williams caught 13 passes for 180 yards and one touchdown last season, including a 70-yard reception against the Oakland Raiders. Known primarily for his blocking, Sypniewski has caught 36 career passes for 261 yards and one touchdown.
