The Facts: One popular offseason story has been how the proliferation of spread offenses in college will continue to impact the NFL and how offensive players who were featured in such schemes can best be used as professionals. HC Jeff Fisher was recently asked about Johnson being used in a similar fashion. "We're going to expand on what we did with him," Fisher replied. "Any time you get someone with his ability, you want to create mismatches and move him around."
Diehards Line:As a rookie, Johnson had 251 carries for 1,228 yards for a 4.9-yard average and nine touchdowns. He was second on the team with 43 receptions, but the Titans didn't split him out nearly as often as ESPN.com's Paul Kahursky thought they would. Fisher explained: "We all have responsibilities to utilize players' talents and abilities. I thought we did a good job with Chris last year. We didn't get as much done with him as we wanted because it was his first year and he was learning. ..." Sound like Year 2 could be interesting.
