The Facts: Chad Pennington and Coles formed a close bond during their seven years together with the Jets. But Pennington said Friday night he won't be lobbying Bill Parcells and Co. to make Coles the Dolphins' next big free-agent signing. "I never try to push that on my friends and my teammates," Pennington said. "We'll wait and see what happens. I don't really know what our organization has in mind."
Diehards Line:Coles, who reached an agreement with the Jets Thursday in which he gave up a $6 million contract for next season in exchange for free agency, visited the Bills on Friday. ... And while Pennington isn't openly lobbying for his former teammate in Miami, the QB did suggest the addition of a solid veteran (whose 70 catches last season were more than any Miami WR) could help the Dolphins' young receiving corps. "He could bring experience. You can't replace that, and you can't put a number on that," Pennington said.
