The Facts: With veteran receiver Laveranues Coles suddenly on the market and his old friend Chad Pennington playing QB in Miami, the NFL rumor mill should be linking Coles to the Fins. But it’s not. Instead, there’s a rampant rumor right now that former Colts star Marvin Harrison could eventually land with the Dolphins.

Diehards Line:While the NFL rumor mill in general might not be linking Coles to Miami, ESPN.com insider John Clayton actually did just that on Wednesday night. ... Whether it's Harrison, Coles or somebody else, however, the Dolphins clearly have a need at the position. ... Meanwhile, as PFT's Mike Florio suggests, the real question is whether Harrison has enough left in the tank to make a difference. While that same question could be asked of Coles (injuries are becoming an increasing concern despite his willingness to play through them), his history with Pennington could work in his favor.
