The Facts: Culpepper has restructured his contract but it remains a one-year deal. Culpepper no longer has a roster bonus scheduled for Feb. 27 but there is believed to be a roster bonus at some point in the off-season or training camp.
Diehards Line:As MLive.com's Tom Kowalski suggests, the restructuring of Culpepper's contract would seem to put him in the mix for the starting job, but team president Tom Lewand and HC Jim Schwartz both said today that no decisions have been made. Lewand also said the team is continuing to talk to quarterback Dan Orlovsky, who will become an unrestricted free agent on Feb. 27.
