The Facts: The Indianapolis Colts released Davenport earlier this week, Scout.com's Adam Caplan has confirmed.

Diehards Line:The seven-year pro signed with the Colts back on December 10 after being released by the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 1. The Colts have five running backs currently under contract. Eight-year veteran, Dominic Rhodes, remains unsigned.
