The Facts: On Monday it was learned the Seahawks will place Logan Payne on the injured reserve list with a torn knee ligament in his right knee, and have lost Seneca Wallace -- a backup quarterback who was going to see time at wideout as an emergency fill-in -- for a month with a calf injury.
Diehards Line:Payne, who started against the 49ers, has an injury to his right medial collateral ligament. He is the third receiver lost for the entire season. HC Mike Holmgren said last week that veterans Deion Branch (recovering from a torn ACL) and Bobby Engram (cracked bone in his shoulder) are still out indefinitely. Holmgren said during his weekly press conference Monday the team will be looking to sign or possibly trade for more receivers before Sunday's game against the also-winless St. Louis Rams.
