Player Capsule:
Heap was excited to sign with the Cardinals last season, returning home where he starred at Arizona State. Unfortunately, his first season in the desert was curtailed heavily by a nagging hamstring injury. And when he was healthy, Heap wasn't a major part of the passing game, catching just 24 passes for 283 yards and one touchdown in 10 games. Heap has a lot of tread on his tires as a 12-year veteran at 32 years old, and it's difficult to envision him returning to the days when he would catch 50-70 passes and throw in a half dozen touchdowns. He could well improve on last year's numbers if he can stay healthy, and the combination of Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd terrorizes secondaries, but a lot of dominos must fall in place for him to be a consistent factor.
