Emmanuel Sanders 2021 Outlook
Sanders will enter his 12th NFL season this year. He's played in three Super Bowls (winning one), caught passes from a first-ballot Hall of Famer, mentored several successful, young wide receivers and now moves on to his fifth team. He's had a long, successful career, but he comes to Buffalo with gas in the tank and winning on his mind. "I'm here to try to win a Super Bowl just like every team in the NFL is trying to win a Super Bowl," Sanders said. He understands the offense is already a well-oiled machine and wants to bring his knowledge to help add to the team's success from last year. Still, even if he's more of a journeyman than a front-line star at this point in his career, Sanders is as rock-solid as they come. In addition to making sure Josh Allen has ample targets, adding a Super Bowl champion and two-time Pro Bowler to a room that just lost free agent John Brown (but one that still includes all-world receiver Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis) could prove quite beneficial, especially come playoff time. As CBSports.com put it, "[Sanders is] not scaring many corners these days, but in Buffalo, a savvy safety makes a ton of sense."
